Bonjour Traction friends, I would be most grateful for some help please. My car is from about March 1938 11BL. Being restored.
We have a correct engine.
My restorer is suggesting we use 35F, 1939 carburateur. From prewar Perfo. Better performance to drive.
Would it be possible for someone to email to me a photo showing absolute correct original prewar 1939 manifold please.
A lot of the links on the Forum do not work for me.
If you can post the photo that is fine, or email to me.
Thank you very much to anyone that can help. Thanks, jim

Hi Jim.
An original horizontal carburettor 30 DHT works perfectly well and is very pleasant to use. And the performances are very satisfactory, as well as the consumption :
An inverted carburettor 35 will bring no advantage, and it would be a pity on a 1938 (in my opinion ...) :

Hi Jim,
Gégé is right, the 35 carburettor is not good for a 38 model, I had it on my 37, and I had an important consumption. Now I have a 30AHD and it is good

Merci Bernard, le tuyau d'essence n'est que provisoire, je vais le changer sous peu , mais il faut modifier aussi la pompe à essence , mettre la sortie à l'arrière
